J Riley Cain Jazz Trio

The classic combo of the Piano-Bass-Drums Jazz Trio is Cain's wheelhouse. The trios perform listenable  melodic jazz in the tradition of Ramsey Lewis, Errol Garner, Bill Evans, Oscar Petersen and Mose Alison. Whether he's on the West Coast, in South America, or New Orleans, Cain always works with the finest local bass players and drummers. Each member brings his own, skill, taste, musicality, heart and soul to the music.  Here are some samples of his trio work with his West Coast group and his New Orleans group.
